(1) Any period of probation or conditional discharge required by the sentencing court to be served shall be supervised by:
(a) The Department of Juvenile Justice, if the youthful offender is under the age of eighteen (18);
(b) The Department of Corrections, upon the youthful offender attaining the age of eighteen (18); or
(c) The designated representative of either of the above.
(2) The Department of Juvenile Justice may make recommendations to the Circuit
Court concerning the disposition of the youthful offender.

1998 Ky. Acts ch. 443 (making a substantive nonrevisory change) and ch. 426 (which made a name change due to reorganization and is revisory in nature). The nonrevisory change prevails. KRS § 7.136(3).
