(1) A limited cooperative association that has dissolved shall deliver to the Secretary of
State for filing articles of dissolution that state: (a) The name of the association;

Terms Used In Kentucky Statutes 272A.12-110

  • Cooperative: means a limited cooperative association or an entity organized under any cooperative law of any jurisdiction. See Kentucky Statutes 272A.1-020
  • Secretary: means the officer designated pursuant to KRS §. See Kentucky Statutes 272A.1-020
  • State: means a state of the United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the United States Virgin Islands, or any territory or insular possession subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. See Kentucky Statutes 272A.1-020

(b) The date the association dissolved; and
(c) Any other information the association considers relevant.
(2) A person has notice of a limited cooperative association’s dissolution on the later of: (a) Ninety (90) days after a statement of dissolution is filed; or
(b) Actual notice of the articles of dissolution.
(3) This section does not apply upon the judicial dissolution of a limited cooperative association pursuant to KRS § 272A.12-030 or administrative dissolution pursuant to Subchapter 7 of KRS Chapter 14A.
