§ 2633. Acquisition and application of property. Subject to the regulations of the department, the board of visitors or the duly appointed treasurer of the homes, as agent of the department, may receive, retain and expend receipts other than state appropriations, any money or other personal property given, bequeathed or entrusted to the board of visitors or duly appointed treasurer, for the purposes for which it is given or bequeathed to the homes or entrusted for safekeeping or, if unaccompanied by conditions or limitations, for any of the purposes of the homes or for the convenience of the residents thereof.
