§ 209-s. Water and sewer district tax payments in the town of Carmel, Putnam county. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the town of Carmel, in Putnam county may correct, by resolution of the town, the omission of certain taxes due and owing by the town of Carmel to the Carmel sewer district #2 and the Carmel water district #2 from nineteen hundred ninety-five to two thousand, with payment of such omitted taxes being made from the town's general fund, and with corrected tax bills thereupon being issued pursuant to § 554 of the real property tax law.
