§ 1355. Food service safety and sanitation training. 1. The commissioner shall promulgate rules and regulations (a) establishing food service safety and sanitation training programs and providing standards therefor or (b) providing for the approval of such programs to be administered by local health officials or private parties in accordance with such rules and regulations.

- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
2. Such regulations shall include a provision permitting private citizens working in establishments subject to the jurisdiction of the commissioner pursuant to this title to attend such training program.
