Terms Used In Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Chapter 9 - Offenses Injurious to Public Health

  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
  • Counterclaim: A claim that a defendant makes against a plaintiff.
  • Effects: includes all personal property and all interest in that property. See Texas Government Code 312.011
