Terms Used In Texas Estates Code Chapter 1106 - Letters of Guardianship

  • Justice: when applied to a magistrate, means justice of the peace. See Texas Government Code 312.011
  • Lawsuit: A legal action started by a plaintiff against a defendant based on a complaint that the defendant failed to perform a legal duty, resulting in harm to the plaintiff.
