Terms Used In Texas Local Government Code Chapter 284 > Subchapter C - Access and Approvals
- Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
- Deed: The legal instrument used to transfer title in real property from one person to another.
- Justice: when applied to a magistrate, means justice of the peace. See Texas Government Code 312.011
