Terms Used In Texas Government Code 773.003
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
- Statute: A law passed by a legislature.
The executive head of a regulatory agency, on request, shall release to the executive head of another regulatory agency any information about a regulated person that the agency gathers in an inspection, survey, or investigation of the person or in a report filed by the person if the information is:
(1) not made confidential by statute; and
(2) within the requesting regulatory agency’s jurisdiction.
