Terms Used In Texas Occupations Code 52.001
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
Except as otherwise provided by law, a person who owns or holds a license to engage in an occupation issued in accordance with the laws of this state may transfer the license in the records of the licensing entity.
