Terms Used In Texas Agriculture Code 80.030
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
All payments, contributions, funds, and assessments received or held by the corporation under this chapter are exempt from state or local taxation, levies, sales, and any other process and are unassignable.
