Terms Used In Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code 5.51
- Commission: means the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission. See Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code 1.04
- Permittee: means a person who is the holder of a permit provided for in this code, or an agent, servant, or employee of that person. See Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code 1.04

A permittee who holds a permit issued under Chapter 28, 30, or 32 may elect to keep all records required under this code on a machine bookkeeping system. A permittee who desires to use such a system must submit a written application for commission approval of the system before implementing the system. The commission may authorize a permittee to centralize the permittee’s records.
