Terms Used In Texas Government Code 124.007

  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
  • Year: means 12 consecutive months. See Texas Government Code 311.005

Not later than December 1 of each year, the Texas Veterans Commission shall report the following information for the preceding state fiscal year to the governor, the lieutenant governor, the speaker of the house of representatives, and each member of the legislature:
(1) the number of defendants who:
(A) participated in each veterans treatment court program;
(B) successfully completed each program; and
(C) did not successfully complete each program; and
(2) the amount of grant funding received by each program.
