Terms Used In Texas Government Code 845.502
- Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
A particular person or subdivision has no right in a specific security or in an item of cash other than an undivided interest in the assets of the retirement system.
