Terms Used In Texas Government Code 2269.007
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
This chapter does not apply to an improvement project undertaken by or through a local government corporation exempt from competitive bidding requirements or restrictions under § 431.110, Transportation Code.
