Terms Used In Texas Local Government Code 232.151
- Municipality: means a general-law municipality, home-rule municipality, or special-law municipality. See Texas Local Government Code 1.005
- Population: means the population shown by the most recent federal decennial census. See Texas Government Code 311.005
This subchapter applies to a county that:
(1) contains a municipality with a population of more than 500,000;
(2) is adjacent to an international border; and
(3) contains more than 30,000 acres of lots that have remained substantially undeveloped for more than 25 years after the date the lots were platted.
