- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
A person affected by the failure of the board or the executive administrator to act in a reasonable time on an application or to perform any other duty with reasonable promptness may file a petition to compel the board or the executive administrator to show cause why it should not be directed by the court to take immediate action.
