- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005

Each time a person applies to take an examination for a license, the person shall pay the department an examination fee, in an amount established by department rule, for each category of examination to be taken. Except as provided by department rule, an examination fee is not refundable.
