- Association: means any corporation organized under this chapter. See Tennessee Code 43-16-103
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Member: includes actual members of associations without capital stock, and holders of common stock in associations organized with capital stock. See Tennessee Code 43-16-103
- Public construction project: means and includes a public works project as defined in the Local Government Public Obligations Act of 1986, compiled in title 9, chapter 21. See Tennessee Code 12-4-801
- Responsive bidder: means a person who has submitted a bid which conforms in all material respects to all documents, whether attached or incorporated by reference, utilized for soliciting bids. See Tennessee Code 12-4-801
