Terms Used In Tennessee Code 43-25-101
- Agriculture: means :
(i) The land, buildings and machinery used in the commercial production of farm products and nursery stock. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105 - Highway: includes public bridges and may be held equivalent to the words "county way" "county road" or "state road". See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the several territories of the United States. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
All owners of farms and farm homes located in this state are authorized and empowered, in their discretion, to adopt suitable names for their farms or farm homes and to register the names with the department of agriculture, as provided in § 43-25-104, each name to be placed in a conspicuous place on or near a public highway.
