Terms Used In Tennessee Code 4-51-114
- Board: means the board of directors of the Tennessee education lottery corporation. See Tennessee Code 4-51-102
- Chief executive officer: means the chief executive officer of the Tennessee education lottery corporation. See Tennessee Code 4-51-102
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Corporation: means the Tennessee education lottery corporation. See Tennessee Code 4-51-102
- Major procurement contract: means any gaming product or service costing in excess of seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000), including, but not limited to, major advertising contracts, annuity contracts, prize payment agreements, consulting services, equipment, tickets, and other products and services unique to the Tennessee lottery, but not including materials, supplies, equipment, and services common to the ordinary operations of a corporation. - State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the several territories of the United States. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
- United States: includes the District of Columbia and the several territories of the United States. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
- vendor: means a person who provides or proposes to provide goods or services to the Tennessee education lottery corporation pursuant to a major procurement contract, but does not include an employee of the Tennessee education lottery corporation, a retailer, or a state agency or instrumentality of the Tennessee education lottery corporation.
