Terms Used In Tennessee Code 50-7-913

  • Shared work benefits: means the unemployment compensation benefits payable to employees in an affected group under an approved plan as distinguished from the unemployment benefits otherwise payable under other parts of this chapter. See Tennessee Code 50-7-901
  • Year: means a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105

An individual who has received all of the combined unemployment benefits and shared work benefits available in a benefit year is considered an exhaustee for purposes of extended benefits, as provided under § 50-7-305, and, if otherwise eligible under that section, is eligible to receive extended benefits.
