(a) Whenever a license issued under part 1 of this chapter is required to engage in business as, or to act as a buyer or seller at, an automobile auction or public automobile auction, an additional license issued under this part shall not also be required for the sale of recreational vehicles to, at, or through an automobile auction or public automobile auction.

Terms Used In Tennessee Code 55-17-418

  • Sale: means the issuance, transfer, agreement for transfer, exchange, pledge, hypothecation, or mortgage in any form, whether by transfer in trust or otherwise, of any recreational vehicle or interest in such vehicle, as well as any option, subscription or other contract, or solicitation looking to sell, offer, or attempt to sell in any form, whether spoken or written. (b) Whenever a license issued under part 1 of this chapter is required to engage in business as, or to act as a buyer or seller at, an automotive dismantler or recycler, an additional license issued under this part shall not also be required for the sale of recreational vehicles to, at, or through an automotive dismantler or recycler.
