Terms Used In Tennessee Code 62-18-118
- Board: means the state board of examiners for land surveyors, provided for by this part. See Tennessee Code 62-18-102
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
- Land surveyor: means a person who is engaged in the practice of land surveying. See Tennessee Code 62-18-102
- Person: includes a corporation, firm, company or association. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
The issuance of a certificate of registration by this board shall be evidence that the person named in the certificate is entitled to all the rights and privileges of a land surveyor while the certificate remains unrevoked or unexpired.
