Terms Used In Arizona Laws 3-1231
- Beef: includes veal. See Arizona Laws 3-1231
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Council: means the Arizona beef council. See Arizona Laws 3-1231
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
- Person: means an individual, corporation, partnership, trust, association, cooperative association and any other business unit or organization. See Arizona Laws 3-1231
1. "Beef" includes veal.
2. "Beef products" includes veal products.
3. "Council" means the Arizona beef council.
4. "Fiscal year" means the fiscal year beginning July 1 and ending June 30.
5. "Person" means an individual, corporation, partnership, trust, association, cooperative association and any other business unit or organization.
6. "Producer" means a person who owns or acquires ownership of cattle.
