Any court, other agency or subdivision of a court or agency that has jurisdiction to take any action suspending, revoking or otherwise limiting a license to drive shall report the action and the adjudication on which it is based to the licensing authority within ten days on forms furnished by the licensing authority.

  • Action: includes any matter or proceeding in a court, civil or criminal. See Arizona Laws 1-215
  • Drive: means to operate or be in actual physical control of a motor vehicle. See Arizona Laws 28-101
  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
  • Licensing authority: means the department. See Arizona Laws 28-1851
