Arizona Laws 41-511.25. Arizona veterans memorial state park
A. The Arizona state parks board shall establish the Arizona veterans memorial state park subject to the following conditions:

- Joint committee: Committees including membership from both houses of teh legislature. Joint committees are usually established with narrow jurisdictions and normally lack authority to report legislation.
- Population: means the population according to the most recent United States decennial census. See Arizona Laws 1-215
1. The Arizona state parks board purchases the Arizona veterans memorial state park site pursuant to Title 37, Chapter 2, Article 3.
2. The joint committee on capital review approves the design and construction of the memorial.
3. The site purchased pursuant to paragraph 1 of this subsection is located in a county with a population of more than four million persons and within two miles of a veteran’s national cemetery.
B. The Arizona state parks board may enter into an intergovernmental agreement pursuant to Title 11, Chapter 7, Article 3 with the county in which the park is located for the maintenance and preservation of the Arizona veterans memorial state park.
