All acts heretofore performed by a register of deeds, or a deputy register of deeds in recording plats and maps by transcribing a correct copy thereof or permanently attaching the original to the records in a book designated “Book of Plats” is hereby validated the same as if said plats had been recorded as required by N.C. Gen. Stat. § 47-30: Provided, however, that nothing herein contained shall affect pending litigation. (1949, c. 1073.)
