Nothing in this Article shall be construed to limit powers granted to and duties imposed upon the chiefs of fire departments and building inspectors by Article 11, Chapter 160 of the N.C. Gen. Stat. of North Carolina, but the powers granted in this Article shall be in addition thereto. (1947, c. 1066.)
