Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 75A-43
- Commission: means the Wildlife Resources Commission. See North Carolina General Statutes 75A-2
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. See North Carolina General Statutes 12-3
- Vessel: means every description of watercraft or structure, other than a seaplane on the water, used or capable of being used as a means of transportation or habitation on the water. See North Carolina General Statutes 75A-2
If application for the recordation of a security interest to be placed upon a vessel is filed in the principal office of the Commission within 30 days from the date of the applicant’s purchase of the vessel, it shall be valid to all persons, including the State, as if the recordation had been done on the day the security interest was acquired.
