Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 115C-255

  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. See North Carolina General Statutes 12-3

The securing of liability insurance and the waiver of immunity as to certain torts of school bus drivers, school transportation service vehicle drivers and school activity bus drivers, is subject to the provisions of N.C. Gen. Stat. § 115C-42, except when such vehicles are operated with funds from the State Public School Fund. (1981, c. 423, s. 1.)
