Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 143B-96
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. See North Carolina General Statutes 12-3
The Edenton Historical Commission is hereby declared not to be a State agency within the meaning of the Executive Organization Act of 1973 and shall be exempt from all provisions of the Executive Organization Act of 1973 except N.C. Gen. Stat. § 143B-95 through N.C. Gen. Stat. § 143B-98 (1973, c. 476, s. 91.)
