Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 147-86.13
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. All community colleges and their officers and employees are subject to the provisions of N.C. Gen. Stat. § 147-86.11 with respect to moneys required by law to be deposited with the State Treasurer and with respect to moneys made available to them for expenditure by warrants drawn on the State Treasurer.
