 Scrutinized companies list.

 Each public fund shall, within thirty days after the scrutinized companies list is created or updated as required by section 12J.3, make the list available to the public.

Terms Used In Iowa Code 12J.5

  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
  • following: when used by way of reference to a chapter or other part of a statute mean the next preceding or next following chapter or other part. See Iowa Code 4.1
  • Public fund: means the treasurer of state, the state board of regents, the public safety peace officers' retirement system created in chapter 97A, the Iowa public employees' retirement system created in chapter 97B, the statewide fire and police retirement system created in chapter 411, or the judicial retirement system created in chapter 602. See Iowa Code 12J.2
  • year: means twelve consecutive months. See Iowa Code 4.1

 Annual report.

 On October 1, 2017, and each October 1 thereafter, each public fund shall make available to the public, and file with the general assembly, an annual report covering the prior fiscal year that includes the following:

 a. The scrutinized companies list as of the end of the fiscal year.
 b. A summary of all written notices sent as required by section 12J.3 during the fiscal year.
 c. All investments sold, redeemed, divested, or withdrawn as provided in section 12J.4 during the fiscal year.
