- Review: means an objective evaluation conducted through a proceeding before a court, administrative body, or an agency, of information necessary for the application of a state's mandatory child support guidelines to determine:(1) The appropriate monetary amount of support. See Iowa Code 252H.2Child support services may request, obtain, and validate information concerning the financial circumstances of the parents of a child as necessary to determine the appropriate amount of support pursuant to the guidelines established in section 598.21B, including but not limited to those sources and procedures described in sections 252B.7A and 252B.9. The collection of information does not constitute a review conducted pursuant to section 252H.16.
