1. When the commission or the commission’s designee believes a school is in violation of this chapter, the commission shall order the school to show cause why the commission should not issue a cease and desist order to the school.
Terms Used In Iowa Code 261B.12
- Commission: means the college student aid commission created pursuant to section 256. See Iowa Code 261B.2
- School: means an agency of the state or political subdivision of the state, individual, partnership, company, firm, society, trust, association, corporation, or any combination which meets any of the following criteria:a. See Iowa Code 261B.2
