- person: means individual, corporation, limited liability company, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership or association, or any other legal entity. See Iowa Code 4.1
546A.4 Penalties.
A person who violates any provision of this chapter commits:
1. A simple misdemeanor for a first offense.
2. A serious misdemeanor for a second offense.
3. An aggravated misdemeanor for a third or subsequent offense.
