- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.

551.8 Revocation of permit.
If any corporation, foreign or domestic, authorized to do business in this state, is found
guilty of unfair discrimination, within the terms of sections 551.1 and 551.2, it shall be the duty of the secretary of state to immediately revoke the permit of such corporation to do business in this state.
