- person: means individual, corporation, limited liability company, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership or association, or any other legal entity. See Iowa Code 4.1
556E.9 Violation.
Every person guilty of a violation of the provisions of this chapter, and every officer,
manager, director, or agent of any such person directly participating in such violation or consenting thereto, shall be guilty of a simple misdemeanor; but nothing in this chapter shall apply to articles manufactured prior to June 13, 1907.
