622.79 When party fails to obey subpoena.
In addition to the remedies provided in sections 622.76 through 622.78, if a party to an
action in the party’s own right, on being duly subpoenaed, fails to appear and give testimony, the other party may, at the other party’s election, have a continuance of the cause at the cost of the delinquent.
