- person: means individual, corporation, limited liability company, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership or association, or any other legal entity. See Iowa Code 4.1
708.3 Assault while participating in a felony.
Any person who commits an assault as defined in § 708.1 while participating in a
felony other than a sexual abuse is guilty of:
1. A class “”C”” felony if the person thereby causes serious injury to any person.
2. A class “”D”” felony if no serious injury results.
