Terms Used In Ohio Code 121.71
- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
- Rule: includes regulation. See Ohio Code 1.59
(A) “Agency” means an “agency” as defined in section 111.15 or 119.01 of the Revised Code.
(B) “Rule” means a new rule or an amendment to an existing rule. “Rule” includes an appendix to a rule.
