The board of trustees of each college-preparatory boarding school established under this chapter shall adopt bylaws for the oversight and operation of the school that are consistent with the provisions of this chapter, the rules adopted under section 3328.50 of the Revised Code, and the contract between the operator and the department of education and workforce. The bylaws shall include procedures for the appointment of future members of the school’s board of trustees upon expiration of the terms of the initial members, which procedures shall comply with section 3328.15 of the Revised Code. The bylaws also shall include standards for the admission of students to the school and their dismissal from the school. The bylaws shall be subject to the approval of the department.
