An individual is ineligible for assistance under Ohio works first if either of the following apply:
Terms Used In Ohio Code 5107.36
- Ohio works first: means the program established by this chapter known as temporary assistance for needy families in Title IV-A. See Ohio Code 5107.02
- Probation: A sentencing alternative to imprisonment in which the court releases convicted defendants under supervision as long as certain conditions are observed.
- state: means the state of Ohio. See Ohio Code 1.59
(A) The individual is a fugitive felon as defined in section 5101.26 of the Revised Code;
(B) The individual is violating a condition of probation, a community control sanction, parole, or a post-release control sanction imposed under federal or state law.
