The department of developmental disabilities shall adjust medicaid payment rates determined under this chapter to account for reasonable additional costs that must be incurred by ICFs/IID to comply with requirements of federal or state statutes, rules, or policies enacted or amended after January 1, 1992, or with orders issued by state or local fire authorities.
Terms Used In Ohio Code 5124.31
- Reasonable: means that a cost is an actual cost that is appropriate and helpful to develop and maintain the operation of resident care facilities and activities, including normal standby costs, and that does not exceed what a prudent buyer pays for a given item or services. See Ohio Code 5124.01
- state: means the state of Ohio. See Ohio Code 1.59
