Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 40:35A-2
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Any county operating or providing for the operation of a transportation service and system pursuant to this act may contract with any public or private entity or corporation for the operation, in whole or part, of the service and system for and on behalf of the county.
