Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 40:55D-82

  • population: when used in any statute, shall be taken to mean the population as shown by the latest Federal census effective within this State, and shall be construed as synonymous with "inhabitants. See New Jersey Statutes 1:1-2
The apportionment of costs and expenses under any joint agreement may be based upon apportionment valuations determined under R.S. 54:4-49, or upon population, budgets and such other factor or factors, or any combination thereof as provided in the agreement.
