Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 49:3-65
- person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. (b) The bureau shall keep a register of all applications for registration and registration statements which are or have ever been effective under this act and all denial, suspension, revocation or other orders which have been entered under this act. The register shall be open for public inspection;
(c) The information contained in or filed with any registration statement, application or report may be made available to the public under such rules as the bureau chief prescribes;
(d) Upon request, the bureau chief shall furnish to any person photographic or other copies, certified under his seal of office if requested, of any entry in the register or any document in the custody of the bureau chief which is a public record. The bureau chief may establish such reasonable conditions and charges for the obtaining of such copies as will in his judgment be practicable.
(e) The provisions of this section are subject to the provisions of P.L.1963, c.73 (C. 47:1A-1 et seq.).
