Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 59:1-4
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Damages: Money paid by defendants to successful plaintiffs in civil cases to compensate the plaintiffs for their injuries.
Nothing in this act shall affect liability based on contract or the right to obtain relief other than damages against the public entity or one of its employees.
