Terms Used In Michigan Laws 11.113

  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
     The books, maps, papers, and other documents constituting the archives of the office of commissioner of immigration shall be kept and preserved in the office of said secretary of state of this state, for future reference, and to constitute a part of the history of the state.
